Many of the churches in Baja California are in poor repair with leaking roofs, plumbing issues, and flooring issues.
As you can imagine, poor communities find it difficult to contribute enough to pay the pastor much less pay for the maintenance of the church. The Joint Commission is able to provide limited funds for approved maintenance projects. Consider forging a strong relationship with a Mexican church; we call this a sister church relationship.
