The Greater Northwest Area warmly extends an invitation to Spokane, Wash., for the 2024 Western Jurisdictional Conference as it gathers July 10-13. This year’s theme is “Love Without Limits,” based on 1 John 4:7-21. The conference will conclude a busy conferencing season, including the postponed General Conference in the Spring and the regular sessions of each annual conference in June.

The venue for the 2024 Western Jurisdictional Conference is the Centennial Hotel in downtown Spokane, about a 15-minute drive from Spokane International Airport. We will hold the Memorial and Consecration/Closing Services at Spokane Valley United Methodist Church. The Western Jurisdiction’s website has more information, including special hotel rates for conference attendees.

We will begin our time together engaging in acts of compassion and justice at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10 (click here for more details) and conclude following worship on Saturday afternoon, July 13. Though the specific work of the WJ Conference is uncertain at this point, delegates will have much work to do as a jurisdiction to strategize and align our ministry moving forward. More detailed information will come in the following months.
