2025 APPOINTMENTS

The following appointments and assignments are listed in reverse chronological order of the announcement to the conference as of July 1, 2025, unless otherwise noted.

Rev. Dr. Krista Givens as Pastor to First UMC of North Hollywood

Bishop Dottie Escobedo-Frank has appointed The Rev. Dr. Krista Givens as pastor to First UMC of North Hollywood in the North District as of January 1, 2025. Prior to this appointment, Rev. Givens was serving at GBGM as Pastor for International Ministry at La Siesta Evangelical Church in Spain.

Pastor Arthur Richardson as Pastor to UMC of Twentynine Palms

Bishop Dottie Escobedo-Frank has assigned Arthur Richardson as pastor at ½ time to UMC of Twentynine Palms in the East District as of January 1, 2025.

Bishop Escobedo-Frank along with the Cabinet are thankful for the many of you who support our collective work during Appointment Season. As pastors are discerned and introduced, they will be announced to the Conference. As these pastors and the faith communities start weaving together their unique gifts and graces for ministry lift them in prayer.
