The California-Pacific Annual Conference is pleased to welcome David Burkitt, Ph.D., as the new Chief Finance and Benefits Officer, effective March 10, 2025. 

Dr. Burkitt brings over 30 years of financial expertise and extensive leadership experience in nonprofit, healthcare, and higher education administration. He has served in key financial and academic roles, including Vice President of Financial Operations at Methodist College in Illinois, Dean of the College of Business and Leadership at Lourdes University in Ohio, and Chief Financial Officer at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Pasadena. His background in strategic financial planning, administration, and fundraising will be a great asset to the conference. 

Rev. Molly Vetter, chair of our Council on Finance and Administration, shares that David “values and exemplifies the kind of servant leadership we believe is needed in our day. We are encouraged that transparency and clarity in communication are among his strengths.”
