The California-Pacific Conference, together with the Young People’s Council (Youth and Young Adult Ministries), in collaboration with local churches, non-profit organizations, and other United Methodist ministry programs, is seeking 18-30 year-olds who are exploring God’s call to leadership and ministry to serve in full-time, paid internships during the summer of 2021.
The internship will provide contextualized, experiential learning opportunities to help interns grow in knowledge, leadership, and skill while purposefully serving in ministry for 8-10 weeks during the summer.
Matched with a designated host site, each intern will receive on-site trainings as well as mentoring from a site supervisor in their setting. Additionally, all interns will participate in the C2 Leadership Institute and gain the tools, skills, and relationships to create success and sustainability in your community development initiatives and more. All interns serving across Southern California will be guided in self-reflection and discernment of vocation while growing in community with one another.
The application deadline is May 17, 2021 (PDT). All interns accepted into the program will be notified by May 22, 2021.
