In preparation for California SB 553: Preventing Workplace Violence going into effect July 1, 2024, several training times will be offered June 25 & 27.
The Workplace Violence Prevention Program training workshops will be recorded. Links to the workshops and relevant documents will be shared by the Conference via email and posted immediately following the workshops.
Training Dates and Times:
Developing a Workplace Violence Prevention Program
- Tuesday, June 25, 1-2 pm PDT (10am HST)
- Tuesday, June 25, 7-8 pm PDT (4pm HST)
This training is geared towards church leaders and office managers, to help navigate SB 553 and create a Workplace Violence Prevention Program for your church. This is open to Hawaii District Churches as well, although SB 553 does not apply to Hawaii.
