Judy Lewis, our head usher for the annual conference this year, is recruiting volunteers! Lay or clergy members of the conference or youth and young adult observers are eligible. Volunteers do need to have status for being on the floor of the conference at all times (Except, of course, clergy session!). We aspire to create a diverse and inclusive ushering team that reflects a variety of cultural backgrounds, experiences, and generations.

Positions will be committed to specific times for worship and sessions. Volunteers may serve as greeters or helpers, or both. You will answer questions or refer questions to Judy or another member of the team. Ushers do not need experience; you will receive training, including the locations of first aid kits, how to pass an offering basket, and how to distribute materials as requested by the conference secretary.

Ushers will receive a special ribbon on their name tag, and the joy of working with our team to make Annual Conference a success!
