The California-Pacific Conference Disaster Response Task Force is coordinating with other Conferences in The United Methodist Church to respond to the disaster in Saipan, Typhoon Yutu, which left 34% of all dwellings destroyed or damaged.

Early Response Teams will be formed with requirements including:

• Staying in Saipan for two weeks
• Construction skills, especially for roofing as that will be the first priority
• Being ERT Certified (those not yet certified will be assisted in obtaining certification)
