The Walk to Emmaus is a leadership development organization serving all Christian churches, developed and managed by The Upper Room ministries of The United Methodist Church. We are a lay-led movement focused on preparing strong Christian leaders to go back into their churches and communities and serve.
This program calls forth and renews Christian Discipleship. Like its predecessor, Cursillo de Christiandad (Spanish for “short course in Christianity”),The Walk to Emmaus is a three-day experience which takes a New Testament look at Christianity as a lifestyle. It is a highly structured weekend designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christian people and through them, their families, congregations and the world, will be equipped with new levels of grace filled service and leadership. Emmaus is a combined effort of laity and clergy serving together toward the renewal of the church.
The Walk to Emmaus is open to members of all Christian denominations. El Shaddai Community of The Walk to Emmaus is represented by a variety of different churches throughout the Inland Empire and Orange County and would like to personally invite you to attend a presentation. Come and join us on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, 7:00PM at:
