TRAUMA & THE SPIRITUALITY OF COMPASSION DAY RETREAT
When: Saturday, January 31st, 2026, 9:30 AM – 3 PM
What: An In-Person Day Retreat with Guest Speakers: Dr. Frank Rogers (of Claremont School of Theology and The Center for Engaged Compassion) & Rev. Dr. Nancy Fowler (of Pacific Beach Christian Church, a CC(DOC) congregation) to learn about trauma and how compassion practice can be engaged in our lives to find our way with resilience.
Who: Anyone from any denomination interested in learning about and seeking resilience in the face of trauma. This is an ecumenical retreat sponsored by the Cal-Pac UMC Retreat Ministry.
Where: ReNew United Methodist Church, 699 Monterrey Road, South Pasadena, CA
Cost: $35 (scholarships available – do not let the cost be a reason not to attend!)
