Event Details

Update [3/13/2020]:  In response to public health recommendations to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the museum’s Board of Directors and staff have decided to temporarily close to the public from Saturday, March 14, until further notice as a precautionary measure. The museum will continue to keep us updated via their website, email, and social media, and expresses gratitude and well wishes during these difficult days.

Over 241,000 people are currently behind bars in California.  Artist Deborah McDuff’s larger than life black and white charcoal drawings depict the raw emotion of children and families left behind in our mass incarceration epidemic.
