This conversation is for pastoral candidates with questions about Ordained Ministry, Licensing as a Local Pastor, or Candidacy Certification. This event is not for any lay ministry certification.
The Board of Ordained Ministry is hosting a Zoom meeting where Candidates for Candidacy Certification and/or Ordination can come, bring their lunch, and ask questions about the process. This will be a casual conversation with the Candidacy Chairperson, Rev. Suzana Kim, and the Associate Director of Lay and Clergy Credentialing and Advancement, Cathy Wilson. There is no formal presentation; we want to make ourselves available to those who may want to learn from the conversation and ask questions.
The same Zoom information will work for each session of the Lunch & Learns. There is no registration needed for this event.
This conversation is for those who may have questions about Ordained Ministry, Licensing as a Local Pastor or Candidacy Certification. This is not for any lay ministry certification.
We plan to meet for an hour and will stay after if there is the need. Candidates are welcome to join for as much as they need during this time.
Technical requirements: To participate in Zoom meetings, participants must have a reliable Internet connection, and a laptop, tablet, or smartphone device that can download and install the Zoom app. A web or phone camera and a microphone are highly recommended, although some users may call in via phone if a mic is not available.
