Dear Clergy and Lay Members of The California-Pacific Annual Conference,

In accordance with our standing rules and ¶603.5 of the Book of Discipline, I hereby call for a Special Called Session of The California-Pacific Annual Conference on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM PDT (12 PM HST, 8 AM Wed ChST). The special session will be conducted via electronic conferencing using Zoom.

The purpose of this Special Called Session is twofold:

• To review and approve the conference budget as part of a comprehensive spending plan for 2025, to include additional budget-related matters from Conference entities (i.e. Equitable Compensation, Staff Resource Committee, Pensions, etc.).
• To vote on a Rules change related to Legislative Sections.
