The California-Pacific Commission on Archives and History will host the presentation of the Bishop’s Cane to the  Rev. Dr. Dale Smith on March 18, at 10:00 a.m.

The Cane belonged to Reverend Robert McIntyre; the first Bishop elected from the Southern California Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church (the predecessor conference to ours). This traditional honor is given to the oldest ordained Elder in the Conference. Bishop Dottie Escobedo-Frank will make the presentation.

The ceremony will be held at the Mt. San Antonio Gardens Assembly Room, 900 E. Harrison Ave. Pomona, CA.
