Cal-Pac and CST Launch New Teaching Parish Program
The Claremont School of Theology is excited to announce a new initiative with the California-Pacific Annual Conference which will create a new pathway for MDiv students to serve simultaneously as pastors in the Annual Conference.
The Teaching Parish Fellows program allows MDiv students at CST to be recommenced for appointment to local congregations in the California-Pacific Annual Conference. Fellows are enrolled in a Teaching Parish supervision course taught by a United Methodist Elder to provide resources and training for their ministry in a supportive peer group of other scholar-pastors. This initiative helps support the academic and ministerial formation of student pastors as they develop concurrently.
The application for the first cohort of scholars is now open! Applicants should apply simultaneously to the Teaching Parish Program and the MDiv program at CST.
