Viva La Church!: A movement of the people”, Oct. 21-23, in Las Vegas, hosted by the Western Jurisdiction
Come hang out with us in Vegas! Keynote speakers are Rodrigo Cruz, Tyler Sit and Kris Sledge. Five Learning tracks on revitalization, redevelopment and property development, innovation and fresh expressions, Hispanic/Latino/Latine contexts (all workshops in Spanish), and churches with an AWA (average worship attendance) of 50 or fewer. We will also have a chance to see some new church starts and revitalization projects in the Desert Southwest!
Sign-up deadline for Cal-Pac laity and clergy is Sept. 21, and we have a pre-conference zoom (Oct. 8th, 7pm) and post-conference zoom (Oct. 29th, 7pm) for all those who attend. Beyond simply attending, we’re hoping the pre-conference and post-conference zooms will help prepare and implement ideas gained from the conference.
The Cal-Pac Congregational Vitality EMT will cover the $99 group registration cost and food for each person, but hope individuals can cover their travel and hotel costs. Scholarships will be considered for those who cannot cover their costs.
