The warm Friday evening started with four children from our United Methodist churches participated in Kids-Take-the-Field.

Each child received a T-shirt before running onto the field to meet a Dodger player who signed an official Dodger baseball for them to keep.

A sellout crowd helped 1,188 United Methodist cheer the Dodgers to a 4-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds.

During the 5th inning the cameras panned the United Methodist sections showing our crowd up on Dodgervision and scoreboard.

At the end of the night, an exciting fireworks show lit up the sky.

But, the night’s greatest success was the $3,550 raised for Cal-Pac Camp scholarships.

A big thank you goes out to all that joined us at Dodger Stadium. Go Dodgers!
