Clergy, Staff Members and Volunteers are invited to a newly forming Conversation/Support Group for Intergenerational Children, Youth, and Family Ministries on Thursday, September 4, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, at Los Altos United Methodist Church, 5950 East Willow Street, Long Beach, CA 90815. This gathering is hosted by Rev. Melinda Teter Dodge (Los Altos UMC) and Rev. Janet Cromwell (West LA UMC).

This is the second informal gathering designed to bring together volunteers and paid church workers to: view and discuss “Think Orange” resources, consider current literature in the field, share innovative programs that are working in our churches, offer a safe place to “bounce around” ideas for implementing new programs, provide support for people trying new ventures, and build friendships among creative ministry leaders.

We welcome the opportunity to talk with our United Methodist colleagues who are equally excited about new ministry possibilities.
