Skip Hodges, missionary to Bolivia, will be itinerating in the California-Pacific Conference from March 4-17, 2014.
Rev. Dr. T. D. Skip Hodges is a missionary of the General Board of Global Ministries assigned to work with the Evangelical Methodist Church in Bolivia.
He is available for local church visitations and speaking to share about his missionary work.
While small in total numbers, the church in Bolivia is increasingly active among the indigenous, highly diverse population. It has 31 national pastors, 170 organized congregations, and another 50 mission congregations. There are strong ties between the Bolivian Methodists and several annual conferences in the United States.
Rev. Dr. Hodges both promotes the work in Bolivia and coordinates the contacts between the church and the United-Methodist-Volunteer-in-Mission teams. He also relates to the wide range of Advance projects in Bolivia.
There are still several weekdays available for speaking to any size local church group in the morning, afternoon or evening. The dates are
- Thursday through Saturday, March 6-8
- Monday and Tuesday, March 10 and 11
- and Thursday and Friday, March 13 and 14
