What a great United Methodist Dodger Night it was on August 14, 2015!
Congratulations goes to Joyce Izumi of Faith UMC (Torrance, CA) who sold the most tickets for the night.
Joining her on the field were Joyce Zirkle of San Fernando First UMC (San Fernando, CA), Tricia Hamilton of St. John’s UMC (Watts, CA), Sandee Furuta of Centenary UMC (Los Angeles, CA) as well as four “Kids on the Field” participants:
- LeGrace Wilborn of the West District
- Ty Kim of Faith UMC (Torrance, CA)
- Jake Kim of Faith UMC (Torrance, CA)
- Alex Smith of Grace UMC (Los Angeles, CA)
In addition, the night raised $3,172 for Imagine No Malaria which includes a matching donation from the West District Union.
Many thanks to Sandee Furuta of the West District this year, and Joyce Zirkle of the California-Pacific Conference in previous years, for coordinating the whole night!
Just another example of how the United Methodists of the California-Pacific Conference is inspiring the world as passionate followers of Jesus Christ so all may experience God’s life-giving love!
