Among the Ventura County Star’s “25 over 50” of 2014 is Rev. Rick Pearson of North Oxnard United Methodist Church.

Rev. Pearson was profiled as “instrumental in [North Oxnard UMC] becoming a reconciling congregation,” and for his previous service as Executive Director of Project Understanding, a faith-based social service agency in Ventura, CA.

Included in the profile was a set of interview questions to which Rev. Pearson gave responses.  Of note is his wedding day, “and every day with her since,” as the happiest day(s) of his life, and his discovery that he is extremely claustrophobic following a recent MRI.
