North District Superintendent Rev. Jim Powell shares with the California-Pacific Conference a resource for a prayer vigil tonight.
Rev. Powell says, “I know that many were hoping to gather to pray for the shooting victims and their families. We ask that you, your family, and your congregation gather wherever it is safe and take time to pray.
At 7:00PM tonight and nights to come, we hope you are able to pause for a moment of prayer. The following Prayer Service could be helpful. This PowerPoint Presentation is a tool to assist in your worship. We want United Methodists to be present in our communities during these times of tragedy and healing. When we pray, God provides the tools we need.”
