Apply now for the 2022 Cal-Pac Hunger Grant. Hunger Grants are administered by the Hunger, Homelessness, Affordable Housing Task Force, which is part of the Justice & Compassion EMT. The maximum grant for 2022 is $500.
The hunger grant helps resource churches who are feeding those people in their community who are in need. The funds are made available from Cal-Pac apportionment giving and from special collections made at local churches on Hunger Awareness Sunday.
As a conference we are working together towards “Ending Spiritual and Physical Hunger,” and these grants are an important part of that work.
Those grant applications which collaborate with other churches and organizations to provide development of sustainability for those people being served will be given preference. In addition, we are encouraging ministries to work towards systemic change alongside their compassion work.
Please complete in as much detail on the application form located via the button below. Only online applications will be accepted; a PDF is provided for preparation. Applications without all information without signatures or submitted after May 1, 2022, will not be considered.
