Excavation Youth (XcVnYtH), Good Shepherd United Methodist Church of Westminster‘s High-School and College-age Young People members, will be holding their 4th annual fundraiser:
Friday, June 30 – Tuesday, July 4, 2023 (10 AM – 10 PM PDT)
at Good Shepherd UMC of Westminster (8152 McFadden Ave., Westminster, CA 92683)
The group works closely with the TNT Fireworks brand and the City of Westminster. All of the licensing and certificates have been approved for the sale dates, with the main goal and mission to create a safe and sane environment for our Young People to enjoy their fireworks.
On Tuesday, July 4, the church will also open its campus to the city for the public to bring their legal fireworks to enjoy on their property – without the hassle of cleaning up their fireworks debris at the end of the day. The group will take care of all the firework trash left on their grounds in a way to contribute and give back to the city.

Excavation Youth meets every Sunday during the 1st service at 8:30 AM in the Wesley Hall at Good Shepherd UMC of Westminster for singing and listening to messages shared by their Youth Director and Leaders. Throughout the year, the group hosts beach days, movie days, activities at the park, etc. They also attend the annual Vietnamese Convocation every summer in July/August, in which all UMC Vietnamese youths around the country gather to fellowship.
