Rev. Cathie Capp, currently appointed to University United Methodist Church (Irvine, CA), is being recognized by St. Anne’s at the “Evening of Angels” gala on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at 5:00 PM (PDT), where she will receive the 2020 Triumph Award.

While pregnant, Rev. Capp resided at St. Anne’s Maternity Home and had a transformational experience.  She took job training classes (computers and banking), prenatal, childcare, and Lamaze classes, and first experienced God’s call into ministry in the St. Anne’s visiting room.

She went on to earn her degree in social work and spent over 13 years working at St. Anne’s (she considers this her “secular ministry”) before earning a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Christian Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary.
